The Reservations Agent will handle all incoming reservation calls in a professional and gracious manner, according to LHW and Hotel Granduca standards. The Reservation Agent will address all inquiries and requests, including cancellations, rates, special packages, hotel services and amenities.

Responsibilities

 

Answer calls and follow up on inquiries according to Hotel Granduca and LHW standards
Confirm and process room reservations while looking for opportunities to upsell
Monitor inventory levels, room and rate restrictions and special pagkages
Maintain knowledge of amenity offerings, room details, types and layout

Manage room inventory and suggest options to generate additional revenue
Know hotel services, facilities and hours of operation

Generate daily revenue reports and distribute appropriately

Handle all group bookings and extended stays and confirm pricing with management

Collaborate with Front Desk and Housekeeping to confirm availability of rooms 
Follow up on guest and billing concerns and involve related departments to promptly resolve issues
Adhere to the department SOP's, Handbook policies the Standard of Appearance
Provide assistance to Front Office team, PBX and Valet
Practice Hotel Granduca Core Values and the 3 Steps of Service
Ensure cancellations and reservations are processed accurately and promptly
Communicate and follow up with Accounting and Front Desk to resolve reservations and billing issues
Maintain full knowledge meeting space and local points of interest
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years' Reservations experience in a full service hotel luxury hotel
Demonstrate a cordial and professional demeanor and excellent work ethics
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must have working knowledge of reservations, front office and Property Management Systems
Excellent email and telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Must maintain a professional, neat and organized appearance
Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings
