The full-time F&B Server will ensure that our guests receive a memorable fine dining experience in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with service that exceeds their expectations.

Provide genuine, engaging, personalized service in accordance with LHW and Hotel Granduca standards
Greet and seat guests, provide menus, take orders, focusing on special requests and needs

Serve food in a timely and cordial manner in all dining areas 
Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverage and special offers
Provide wine and cocktail service while adhering to TABC guidelines 
Operate POS system with accuracy and efficiency
Adhere to the Cash Handling Policy and ensure proper handling of credit card transactions
Assist with other F&B Outlets job functions 
Maintain a secure and accurate cash drawer 
Adhere to department SOP's, health and sanitation regulations
Practice the hotel's Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
Adhere to the Standards of Appearance, attendance, hotel and handbook policies

Demonstrate excellent work ethics and respect towards co-workers and guests
Maintain visibility on the floor and be ready to assist guests
Assist with hosting and bussing duties 
Ensure F&B areas are clean and sanitary and all condiments are adequately stocked
Complete required sidework and appropriate checklists
Promote and upsell food, special offers and beverage items
Assist in controlling the loss and waste of food and beverage product
Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities and local points of interest
Demonstrate a professional, friendly and cordial demeanor

Assist with cleaning, disinfecting, sanitizing F&B and outlets
Perform other duties as assigned



Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years' server experience in a fine dining facility of a full service luxury hotel 
Valid Texas Food Handler’s and TABC Certificate 
Knowledge of wines and liquors and wine-pairing
Excellent interpersonal skills, email and telephone etiquette, attention to detail
Professional and courteous demeanor
Excellent work ethics and dependability

Ability to stand and walk for long periods, use both hands, see, smell, touch,hear, speak

Ability to reach, bend, sit, crouch, kneel, push, pull, carry at least 30 lbs
Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time while providing excellent guest service
Must be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol
Excellent communication skills and ability to understand written and verbal instructions
Excellent command of English. Bilingual - English/Spanish - preferred
Must be able to work assigned shifts - AM, PM, weekends and holidays
