    The full-time Food Runner is responsible the timely delivery of food and support to all F&B outlets to ensure prompt and exceptional service to our guests.

    Responsibilities

    Ensure adequate inventory of dishes and required items in assigned culinary station
    Deliver menu items and orders from kitchen to all serving areas in a timely and professional manner
    Monitor and verify accuracy and proper presentation of orders before transporting items to serving area
    Maintain ongoing communication with servers, culinary team and Executive Chef to ensure timeliness and accuracy of order and delivery
    Assist servers in communicating special requests and needs to culinary team
    Assist with all side work including set up and reset of tables and work areas
    Prepare condiments, garnishes and other tasks as requested
    Adhere to Federal, State, OSHA and Health regulations
    Follow the LQA and hotel's standards, policies and procedures
    Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage items and special menu items
    Understand new food and beverage items and ingredients
    Adhere to the hotel's Daily Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
    Perform other job duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
    At least one year related experience in a full-service or luxury hotel
    Excellent command of English, verbal and written and ability to follow instructions

    Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
    Bilingual - English and Spanish - preferred
    Ability to lift/carry, push and pull at least 30 lbs 
    Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, crouch, use both hands for long periods
    TABC certificate required
    Food Handlers or Serve Safe certification required
    Must be available to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, based on business demands
