    The Catering Sales Manager will focus on establishing accounts within the Corporate market, while exceeding the expectations of the guests, according to LHW and Hotel Granduca standards.

    Responsibilities

    Identify and pursue opportunities within the Corporate market to secure catering business for the hotel
    Actively solicit new business through telemarketing, cold-calling, referrals, and blitzes
    Meet and greet clients and conduct tours of hotel and banquet facilities
    Provide leads to the Sales Manager
    Coordinate with the Accounting department to ensure necessary deposits and payments are received
    Assist clients in menu planning and coordination, meeting room setup, decor, and other services as requested by the client
    Negotiate food and beverage pricing and rentals to achieve maximum results
    Finalize terms and agreements with clients and create BEOs in a timely manner

    Develop menus and ensure timeoly distribution of BEO's
    Maintain open communication with Sales team, management and meeting planners to ensure smooth operation
    Maintain visibility and communication during event and promptly address and resolve issues
    Coordinate and attend weekly BEO meetings

    Meet and exceed revenue goals

    Maintain accurate information to produce forecast and required reports 
    Collaborate with hotel banquet staff and vendo
    rs to ensure excellent and timely execution of event
    Maintain compliance of F/S laws, OSHA and hotel policies and procedures
    Practice the hotel's Daily Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
    Maintain knowledge of hotel and area, services and amenities and hours of operation

    Know facilities, special offers and packages, room capacity, menu and pricing
    Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Bachelor's degree or College coursework preferred
    Minimum 3 years' related experience as a Catering Sales Manager in a full-service or luxury hotel
    Proficiency in Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
    Excellent command of English language, verbal and written
    Ability to effectively adjust to last minute changes to ensure a successful event
    Professional and cordial demeanor when dealing with internal and external guests
    Ability to effectively communicate with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds

    Excellent email and telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
    Bilingual- English/Spanish- preferred
    Excellent time management skills
    Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
    Must be available during events, including evenings or nights, weekends and holidays
