    Position Overview:


    The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Front Desk, Concierge, PBX and Valet, to ensure a perfect first impression and arrival experience for our guests.

    • Establish the first impression that reflects the culture of Hotel Granduca and exceed LHW standards
    • Maintain visibility in the Front Office and promptly assist guests as needed
    • Promptly greet guests and visitors in a warm, friendly and courteous manner
    • Demonstrate a passion for the role and be willing to assist guests wth every need
    • Check guests in and out, utilizing the guidelines of LHW and Hotel Granduca
    • Attend and participate in required meetings
    • Answer the telephone within 3 rings, using a positive and courteous tone
    • Accountable for securing and maintaining an accurate and balanced cash bank
    • Communicate effectively with management and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
    • Acknowledge and resolve guest issues in a prompt and efficient manner

    • Practice and enforce the 3 Steps of Service and the Daily Core Values
    • Adhere to the Hotel Standards of Appearance, body language and tone
    • Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and hotel policies
    • Provide leadership and assistance to Front Desk, Concierge, PBX and Valet team
    • Assist with training and development of new employees
    • Assist with Night Audit as required
    • Assist with the implementation and operation of AYS sytem
    • Maintain a professional and cordial demeanor to create a positive first impression to our guests
    • Maintain updated knowledge of hotel amenities and services, hours of operations, rates, room types and special packages & promotions
    • Share information regarding amenities, hours of operation of faclities and transportation to guests 
    • Work with Accounting department to research and resolve billing and cash shortage/overage issues 
    • Assist with deliveries to guests' rooms and preparing lost & found items for mailing to guests
    • Perform other duties as assigned



    • Minimum high school Diploma or equivalent
    • At least 2 years' related supervisory experience in a full-service or luxury hotel
    • Night Audit experience a plus
    • Excellent command of English and ability to follow instructions, verbal and written

    • Bilingual - English and Spanish - preferred

    • Excellent telephone and email etiquette and interpersonl skills
    •  Excellent oganizational skills and ability to multi-task
    • Ability to remain calm and courteous during busy times
    • Listening skills and ability to demonstrate empathy 
    • Excellent computer skills  - Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

    • Must demonstrate a positive and professional demeanor towards internal and external guests
    • Must be able to work any shift including weekends, holidays, and overnight as needed
