    The Housekeeping Houseperson will provide exceptional support in maintaining a clean, warm and inviting guest room and public space for our guests that exceeds their expectations.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Room Attendants in ensuring all assigned guest rooms are immaculate and reflect LHW and hotel Granduca standards 
    • Safely adhere to processes and procedures for use of cleaning agent supplies and equipment
    • Maintain and replenish linens, supplies and amenities in housekeeping closets
    • Deliver housekeeping items sundry and other items to guest rooms upon request 
    • Deep clean assigned areas of the hotel including the shampooing of rooms and public areas, window washing, hotel light fixtures, and guest elevators
    • Communicate concerns, issues or special requests to supervisor and follow up to timely resolution
    • Report all lost and found items to the Supervisor in a timely manner
    • Demonstrate respect and professionalism on the guest floors, towards guests, coworkers and vendors
    • Follow safety and sanitation procedures and adhere to all procedures, policies and regulations
    • Maintain assigned keys in a safe and secure manner
    • Practice the hotel Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
    • Report to work on a consistent manner according to schedule 
    • Assist other departments as needed
    • Maintain a professional, neat and organized appearance according to Hotel Granduca standards
    • Demonstrate passion about providing warm, engaging and personalized service
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
    • At least 1 year related experience in a full-service luxury hotel 
    • Must be able to communicate professionally and effecively with guests, fellow associates and vendors
    • Must be highly responsible and dependable
    • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
    • Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task
    • Must be a team player and able to work cohesively with all members of the team with minimum supervision
    • Must be able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays
