    The part-time Human Resources Coordinator will assist in maintaing the culture of Granduca Hotels while providing support in all HR functions.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support for all employee-related issues
    • Assist with all aspects of recruitment including  data entry, new hire orientation and training
    • Assist with the daily operation of the Human Resources department
    • Consult with HRD on employee-related matters
    • Communicate changes in policies and regulations in a timely manner
    • Assist with investigations as required, while ensuring confidentiality of information
    • Promptly respond to employee inquiries 
    • Ensure compliance of policies, applicable laws and regulations
    • Assist with recruiting and onboarding process
    • Monitor and update the ATS on a daily basis 
    • Practice and enforce the hotel's Standard of Appearance policy
    • Maintain an open-door policy and escalate employee concerns for timely resolution
    • Maintain updated records of all compliance training and certifications
    • Assist with all employee relations functions and events
    • Practice and enforce the hotel Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
    • Ensure all employee files and information are maintained in a secure and organized manner 
    • Communicate with Payroll to ensure timeliness and accuracy of information
    • Conduct Exit Interviews as required
    • Assist with Benefit administration 
    • Maintain compliance with I-9 records
    • Assist with WC and UI claims
    • Ensure bulletin boards are current and updated
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
    • At least 2 years' experience in a HR Coordinator role  in a full service or luxury hotel
    • Excellent communication skills, oral and written. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
    • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
    • Experience with new hire onboardng, ADP systems and ATS
    • An approachable, professional, calm and cordial demeanor
    • Excellent email and telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to work with minimum supervision
    • Ability to deviate from daily routine to meet deadlines as required
    • Proven ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid and accurate conclusions
    • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve based on facts
    • Ability to work required shifts based on employees' needs and employee related events
