    The Sales Manager - Corporate Group - would focus on establishing new business relationships to exceed Company financial goals while adhering to the LHW and Hotel Granduca standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Establish, increase and maintain the key client base - Corporate, Business Transient and Group -  through proposals, phone calls, vists and site inspections
    • Maximize revenue by promoting all facets of the hotel to previous, current and potential clients
    • Ensure account details and closings are handled with accuracy and a sense of urgency and professionalism
    • Coordinate participation from related sources to finalize accounts and contracts
    • Research and develop new and appropriate marketing strategies to recruit new clients while maintaining an active client base
    • Represent hotel at trade shows while maintaining the professionalism and demeanor that reflect the standards of LHW and Hotel Granduca
    • Attend and participate in department and other required meetings
    • Communicate special needs and accmmodations prior to their group’s arrival to ensure a memorable experience
    • Demonstrate respect for the team and maintain a professional and cordial relationship with coworkers and clients that reflects the culture of Hotel Granduca
    • Follow up, acknowledge and resolve all client issues and concerns in a professional, cordial and timely manner
    • Maintain visibility and open communication before, during and after visits and events
    • Practice the Hotel Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
    • Demonstrate a professional and cordial demeanor and adhere to the hotel's Standard of Appearance
    • Maintain detailed knowledge of the hotel, including room type, services and amenities, hours of operation, local attractions, surrounding areas, points of interest, special offers and packages
    • Exceed goals and ensure client return
    • Perform other duties as assigned

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent 
    • At least 3 years' successful track record as Manager - Corporate Group Sales in a full service, Independent or luxury hotel
    • Strong background in selling hotel rooms, F&B, Catering, Meeting Rooms, and thorough knowledge of sales techniques
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to understand and follow instructions
    • Must be able to work effectively with Operations and other teams 
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Excellent email, telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities
    • Must be detailed-oriented and possess excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Must be available to work any day including extended hours as required, based on business and client's needs
