    The Bartender is responsible for catering to the guests in a professional and cordial manner while creating a relaxing and friendly atmosphere.

    • Welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner
    • Record guests' orders, enter into POS system and process payment while ensuring accuracy
    • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and assist with service of food and beverage to guests in a timely manner
    • Describe and up-sell menu and beverage items
    • Prepare garnishes and other snack items
    • Ensure cleanliness in the bar service station and work areas
    • Maintain knowledge of the hotel, hours of operations, amenities and surrounding areas
    • Assist bar servers and team members as needed
    • Maintain updated knowledge of  all wines, liquor and special menus items 
    • Meet or exceed the LHW and hotel's standards
    • Adhere to policies, procedures and required laws and regulations
    • Practice the Daily Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
    • Stock and organize storage areas to ensure an adequate inventory  of supplies
    • Complete necessary side-work as required
    • Secure and maintain an accurate cash bank
    • Maintain a friendly and cordial demeanor with internal and external guests
    • Communicate with management to address and resolve guest concerns in a timely manner
    • Perform other duties as assigned


    • Minimum requirement high school education or equivalent
    • Minimum of one year of related experience in a luxury  or a full-service hotel 
    • Ability to walk, stand, bend, push, pull and carry to 30 lbs
    • Must demonstrate a warm, friendly and cordial demeanor
    • Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
    • Experience with Micros system (POS) preferred
    • Must possess knowledge wines, liquor and mixed  beverages

    • TABC certification required

    • Food Handler's certification required
    • Excellent command of English, verbal and written and ability to follow instructions
    • Bilingual - English and Spanish - preferred
    • Must be able to work required shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, based on business demands
