    The Corporate Group Sales Manager should strive to continually improve guest satisfaction, create new business relationships and exceed company financial goals. 

    Responsibilities

    • Develop & maintain the following segments: Corporate, Business Transient and group market through proposals, phone calls, outside calls and site inspections
    • Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to previous, current and potential clients
    • Handle account details to ensure all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented
    • Coordinate various departments’ participation in servicing and finalizing accounts and contracts
    • Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients
    • Travel locally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel and review competition
    • Represent hotel at trade shows while maintaining the professionalism and demeanor that reflect the standards of LHW and Hotel Granduca
    • Attend and participate in department and other required meetings
    • Continually focus on Sales goals to produce desired results and communicate the clients’ special needs  prior to their group’s arrival to ensure the team exceeds their expectations
    • Maintain visibility and communication and be available to promptly address and resolve client issues 
    • Practice the Hotel Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
    • Demonstrate a professional and cordial demeanor and adhere to the hotel's Standard of Appearance
    • Maintain detailed knowledge of the hotel, including room type, services and amenities, hours of operation, local attractions, surrounding areas, points of interest, special offers and packages
    • Perform other duties as assigned

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum High School Diploma 
    • At least 3 years' Corporate Group Sales experience with proven track record of booking business in a full service or luxury hotel
    • Strong background in selling hotel rooms, F&B, Catering, Meeting Rooms, and thorough knowledge of sales techniques
    • Ability to maintain consistent and professional verbal and written communication with clients with timely follow through
    • Must be able to work effectively with Operations and other teams 
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office – specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Excellent email, telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities
    • Must be detailed-oriented and possess excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Must be available to work any day including extended hours as required, based on business and client's needs
