    The Concierge Agent will provide authentic, warm and exceptional service to our guests, ensuring our guests' requests are addressed  promptly and graciously, while creatively exceeding their expectations.  The Concierge will support all other departments of the hotel in ensuring impeccable service for our guests throughout their stay.

    Responsibilities

    • Promptly greet guests and assist with all requests in a gracious, warm and courteous manner
    • Maintain visibility in the Front Office area and maintain a pleasant and approachable demeanor
    • Maintain contact with guests while in house to ensure all special requests and needs are met
    • Assist with deliveries of Lost & Found, amenities and packages to guest rooms in a timely manner
    • Exceed all service requirements as outlined by Hotel Granduca standards and Leading Hotels of the World
    • Actively engage in any guest recovery situation and follow up to final resolution
    • Assist the Front Office and Valet teams as required
    • Maintain communication with Housekeeping, F&B and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
    • Collaborate with Loss Prevention to guest issues regarding missing and lost items
    • Assist with special reservations and suggest attractions and places of interest
    • Learn and practice the 3 Steps of Service and Hotel Core Values
    • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, special offers, hours of operations
    • Maintain knowledge of room types, local area, places of interest, attractions, sites, restaurants
    • Demonstrate passion for job and take ownership of guest issues and concerns
    • Assist with purchasing and delivering items to guests in a prompt and efficient manner
    • Cater to the guests' needs while maintaining a professional and cordial demeanor
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
    • At least one year experience as a Concierge or guest service agent in a full service or luxury hotel
    • Demonstrated passion for the role that reflects the culture and service standards of LHW and Hotel Granduca
    • Excellent command of English, verbal and written. Bilingual -Spanish/English an asset
    • Excellent email and telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
    • A warm, approachable, calm and professional demeanor with a sense of urgency to fullfill guests' needs  
    • Excellent comprehension skills and ability to follow instructions, verbal and written 
    • Ability to multi-task, excellent time management skills and attention to detail 
    • Extensive network of contacts, knowledge of local area and hotel and amenities
    • Ability to push, pull, carry up to 100 lbs
    • Ability to provide valid and relevant directions, recommendations and resources to enable successful fulfillment of guest requests
    • Knowledge of local attractions, exhibits, shows, concerts, entertainment, shopping and other activities 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Must be able to work required shifts including weekends and holidays, based on business demands
