The Executive Chef is responsible for managing the culinary department and overseeing food preparation and presentation according to LHW and Hotel Granduca standards. The Executive Chef will strive to ensure that the culinary team will consistently exceed our guests' expectation through exceptional guest service, preparation and presentation of all food items from Hotel Granduca's kitchen.
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, coordinate food production schedules and ensure highest level of food quality, taste and presentation
Establish food control procedures and educate the culinary team on cost control
Practice and enforce the Daily Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
Conduct regular inspections of the culinary and stewarding department and coolers
Collaborate with Restaurant and expeditors to perfect the timing, serving and presentation of menu items
