Position Overview:

 

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Front Desk, PBX and Valet, to ensure a memorable and welcoming experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the first impression that reflects the culture of Hotel Granduca and exceed LHW standards
  • Maintain visibility in the Front Office and assist guests as needed
  • Accountable for securing and maintaining an accurate cash bank
  • Communicate effectively with management and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Acknowledge and resolve guest issues in a prompt and efficient manner

  • Practice and enforce the 3 Steps of Service and the Daily Core Values
  • Maintain current knowledge of emergency procedures and hotel policies
  • Provide leadership and support to Front Desk, PBX and Valet team
  • Accurately and efficiently check guests in and out of the hotel and indentify opportunities to upsell
  • Assist with training of new employees
  • Assist with night audit duties as required
  • Maintain a professional an cordial demeanor to create a positive first impression to our guests
  • Maintain updated knowledge of hotel amenities and services, hours of operations, rates and special packages & promotions
  • Work with Accounting department to research and resolve billing issues
  • Assist with Concierge duties as required
  • Assist with deliveries to guests' rooms and preparing lost & found items for mailing to guests
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement high school Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year related experience as a Front Office Supervisor in a full-service or luxury hotel
  • Night Audit experience required
  • Must be able to work any shift including weekends, holidays, and overnight as needed
  • Excellent command of English, verbal and written, required

  • Bilingual - English and Spanish - preferred

  • Listening skills and ability to demonstrate empathy required
  • Excellent computer skills required - Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

  • Must demonstrate a positive and professional demeanor towards internal and external guests
  • Must maintain updated knowledge of the hotel and surrounding areas
